Fort Edwards Museum & Visitor Center is dedicated to preserving the site of The French & Indian War. Joseph Edwards, one of the early settlers to Hampshire County, and his property was surveyed by the one-and-only George Washington. During the French & Indian War Edward's property became a military fort site for the Virginia Frontier.

It is located along the northern boundary of Capon Bridge in what is now West Virginia.
